Scholarships are based on their successful reign & appearances. "If everyoene makes exactly the same appearances and does all that is required"
The pageant is designed for the Miss Division to receive the most as She may already be in College. Then the other division Queens receive 1/2 of the Miss amount.
Then the Model, Swimwear & Talent Queens receive approx. 1/2 of the Division Queens amount. If you do the required appearances and other Queens do not then you amount goes up & theirs go down.
It's simple! If you just want the Crown and do nothing else, don't expect much of a scholarship. But I guarantee you, you will miss out a a
GREAT YEAR, FULL OF MEMORIES, FUN & EXCITEMENT. YOUR YEAR IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT!!!

At noon it will be closed to the public so our National Queens can go over their opening number.
It will reopen at 1:30pm for admission.

Little, Junior, Teen, Miss & Mrs. will compete in a 5 minute interview competition.

40% of Score for Teen - Mrs.
10% of score for Little & Junior
Teeny & Tiny do not have Interview.

Little, Junior, Teen, Miss & Mrs. will have a introduction (5% of score) & a on-stage question (5% of score).
Suggested Introduction: (Name, division, contestant number, title, state, system, & a little flavor is ok, but keep it under 20 seconds.)
Teeny & Tiny will do introduction (not scored) and will not have an on stage question.
Little, Junior, Teen, Miss & Mrs. Questions will come from their Interview & selected by the judges.
Judges Panel of 3 will be of the highest caliber for your pageant!
The National Southern Miss Scholarship Pageant system is going to extreme measures to insure that the Judges that are selected to Judge Nationals are not familiar with any past or present director, contestant or current reigning Queen. The National Board is contacting an outside source to contact another States State Pageant Judges Board (unknown to us) to screen, select and communicate with them. Also, upon the Judges arrival they will remain with a judges escort at all times. This is so that no contestant, family member, emcee, director or anyone on the National Board has any contact at any time with the judges. Are system is very animate about insuring fairness in every possible way. You can watch the paper trail/score sheets go from the judges, to the Auditor and then to the emcee. At no time will this chain of custody be broken by anyone. If we can think of any other things to insure the fairness of our system we will implement them also. Is this extreme you may ask, no it is in all fairnes to everyone.

It is an open at-large pageant for anyone within the United States.
"At-Large" means anyone who does not have a current title can also enter.
All current Reigning Queens from any Pageant receive a $50 discount from the At-Large entry fee.
"7 age divisions, 2 Swimwear & 2 Model & 2 Talent Queens will be crowned"
The National Southern Miss Scholarship Pageant is designed as a premier pageant system to support Education through Scholarships
on a National Level throughout the USA.
BEST OF ALL, THE QUEENS WILL BE NATIONAL QUEENS WITH NATIONAL TITLES &
REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NATIONAL SOUTHERN MISS SCHOLARSHIP PAGEANT.
Our system has a National DIrector & Owner and a Board of Directors composed of State Directors of other State pageant Systems.
These State pageants are exclusively owned and operated separately from National Southern Miss Scholarship Pageants system.
Our system is dedicated to promoting higher eduation by providing Scholarships on a National Level that will benefit all the National Southern Miss Queens Education.

There is a $25.00 late fee for any late entries.
Teeny, Tiny & Little Miss
Registration Entry Fee is $125.00.
Entry fee is $175.00 for at Large Contestants.
Teeny National Southern Miss (Age 0-3) & Tiny National Southern Miss (Age 4-6) Division are judged on the following
Personality 20%, Poise 20% - Beauty 20% - Gown 20% - Overall Appearance 20%.
Little (Age 7-9) National Southern Miss (ages 10-12) is judged on the following
10% interview (5 minute) - Personality & Poise 20% - Beauty 20% - Gown 20% - Overall Appearance 20% - 5% on-stage question - 5% Introduction.

Registration Entry Fee is $150.00 "if you are current reigning Queen from any pageant".
Entry fee is $200.00 for at Large Contestants "Not a current regeining Queens".
Junior National Southern Miss (ages 10-12) is judged on the following
10% interview (5 minute) - Personality & Poise 20% - Beauty 20% - Gown 20% - Overall Appearance 20% - 5% on-stage question - 5% Introduction.
Teen National Southern Miss (Age 13-16), National Southern Miss (Age 17-23) & Mrs. National Southern Miss (age 21 -Up) are judged on:
40% interview (5 minute) - 50% evening gown competition - 5% on-stage question - 5% Introduction

Entering these optional competitions seriously increases you chances of
winning a National Title if you do not win your division as we do not double crown.

National Southern Miss Swimwear & Model Queen Competitions
The National Southern Miss Swimwear & Modeling Queen competitions are open to all contestants ages 4-up.
Two (2) swimwear & (2) Modeling National titles will be crowned.
It is open to all contestants. Entry is only $50.00 each.
Our 2010 Miss Model is received $750.00. That's 15 times the $50 entry fee.
They will be scored separately from the seven division competitions as a separate optional competition for a National Title.
Please understand that entering thess 3 optionals seriously increases your opportunity at a National Title in the event you do not win your division.
You choose you music and advise us of it when you turn in your application and you must turn in a CD
with your song with your application or we will choose an upbeat song for you with a good beat to walk & Model to.
Remember these are Modeling Competitions not to be confused with Dance which is s Talent.
It will have a time limit of 90 seconds max at which time if you are not done the Sound person will fade your music out. Please try to limit it to 60 seconds!
The Swimwear & Modeling competitions will be scored from 1-25 in each of the following 4 areas:
(1) Beauty: of Face and Figure,
(2) Attire: Color, Style & Fit,
(3) Presentation: Modeling Ability, Posture & Confidence,
(4) Overall Appearance:
(Ages 4-12) Routine style moding suggested. (Ages 13-up) Runway style modeling suggested.

National Southern Miss Talent Queen Competition
Two (2) National titles will be awarded in the Talent competition & will be crowned:
It is open to all contestants age 4-up. Entry is only $50.00.
Our 2010 Little Miss Talent is received $750.00. That's 15 times the entry fee.
It will be scored separately from the eight division competitions as a separate optional competition for a National Title.
This competition is optional but Please understand that entering this optional increases your opportunity at a National Title in the event you do not win your division.
Chose your best Talent and have the time of your life competing for this great National Title. It is optional to enter this competition.
Entry fee is an additional $50.00. All entries will be judged on their Talent and Judges Appeal by the Division Judges of the pageant.
You must advise us on what you will be bringing to facilitate your talent when you turn in your application.
It will have a time limit of 2 Minutes at which time if you are not done the Sound person will fade you out.

"National Southern Miss - Little Talent Queen" (Open to ages 4-12)
"National Southern Miss - Talent Queen" (Ages 13-up)
Queens receive a Custom High End National Level Full Round Crown, Double stoned lined high end white sash

The National Pageant will not double crown.
Should you win your age division and the Swimwear, Talent or Model competition
you will be crowned for your age division only, which takes pecedence.
In the event that this happens the 1st runner-up in the Talent, Swimwear and/or Modeling competitions will be crowned.
This allows us to Crown 6 more National Queens.
Please understand that competing in the Modeling, Swimwear & Talent gives you 3 additional
opportunities at a National Title and a scholarship if you enter these competitions.
It also enters you in the Supreme Competition!
