The National Southern Miss Scholarship Pageant is designed as a premier pageant system to support Education through Scholarships.
BEST OF ALL, THE QUEENS WILL BE NATIONAL QUEENS WITH NATIONAL TITLES & REPRESENTATIVES OF
THE NATIONAL SOUTHERN MISS SCHOLARSHIP PAGEANT.
Our system has a National Board of Directors & is not individually directed, but jointly directed by State Directors of other State pageant Systems.
All dedicated to providing Scholarships on a National Level that benefits all the National Queens Education.
If you are director of a State level pageant and are interested in joining us as a Board of Directors
and having your State pageant attend National Please feel free to contact so with any questions you may have.

All 2010 Miss Florida Cotton State Queens are required to compete.
All 2010 Miss Alabama Cotton State Queens are required to compete.
All 2010 Miss Florida Palm State Pageant Contestants are eligible to enter.
All 2010 Miss Alabama Cotton Pageant Contestants are eligible to enter.
All 2010 Miss Florida Cotton Pageant Contestants are eligible to enter.
All Georgia Southern Miss State Pageant Queens are required to compete.
All current reigning 2009 Miss Florida Palm State Queens are eligible to enter.
All current reigning 2009 Miss Florida Tropical Palm State Queens are eligible to enter.
All 2009 Miss Florida Cotton State Queens are eligible to compete.
All 2009 Miss Alabama Cotton State Queens are eligible to compete.
If your State pageant is not listed above please contact us so you can enter.
Proceeds from this pageant will go towards scholarships and savings bonds intended for education for the Queens.
Programs, DVD's, & Photo CD's, and any other items sold separately are excluded from these proceeds.
Entry Fees
Baby - Junior Miss
Early registration Entry Fee is $150.00 & must be postmarked by TBA. Applications postmarked after
TBA will be accepted until final deadline TBA, however the entry fee will increase to $175.00.
Teen, Miss & Mrs.
Early registration Entry Fee is $175.00 & must be postmarked by TBA. Applications postmarked after
TBA will be accepted until final deadline TBA, however the entry fee will increase to $200.00.
Entry fee is $200.00 for at Large Contestants (not listed from the pageants above)
& must be postmarked on or before TBA & include all money, program ad & photo (emailed).

Teen, Miss & Mrs. are judged on 40% interview (5 Minutes) - 20% public speaking (1 Minute Speech)
35% evening gown competition - 5% On-Stage Question
All other divisions are judged on the following
Personality & Poise 25% - Beauty 25% - Gown 20% - Overall Appearance 20% - Public Speaking 10%

This is not for you to practice your walk, you should have your walk down, but will give you the feel for the stage.

National Southern Miss Queens Prizes Age 17-23
National Title of National Southern Miss Queen.
A Scholarship Savings Bond or check will be given to each Queen at the end of her reign.
High End National Level Full Round Crown:
Double stoned lined high end sash finely embroidered & trimmed.
Double column engraved trophy. Gifts & Prizes.
Queens Prizes for all other Divisions
National Title of National Southern Miss Queen.
Savings Bonds: Intended for education will be given out to all other division Queens at the end of their Reign.
High End National Level Full Round Crowns
Double stoned lined high end sash finely embroidered & trimmed.
Double column engraved trophy & Gifts & Prizes.
1st runner-up thru 4th runner-up Prizes
Will receive a placing & trophy.
All other contestants
Will receive a Trophy. No one goes away empty Handed.
Optional Competitions
National Southern Miss Swimwear Queen
Competition is open to all contestants. Entry is only $50.00.
It will be scored separately from the seven optional & eight division competitions as a separate optional competition for a National Title.
Please understand that entering this optional increases your opportunity at a National Title in the event you do not win your division.
The swimwear competition will take place on Saturday after all pageant competition of divisions are completed
and all the beauty competition score sheets have been turned in to auditor.
You must submit your music CD with your application
or we will choose an upbeat song for you with a good beat to walk & Model to.
It is not a Dance or Talent competition. It is a Modeling Competition.
It will have a time limit of 90 seconds at which time if you are not done the Sound person will fade your music out.
The Swimwear competition will be scored from 1-25 in each of the following 4 areas:
(1) Beauty: of Face and Figure,
(2) Swimwear: Color, Style & Fit,
(3) Presentation: Modeling Ability, Posture & Confidence,
(4) Overall Appearance:
Two (2) National titles will be awarded in the swimwear competition & will be crowned with the titles of:
"National Southern Miss - Little Swimwear Queen" (Open to ages 0-9)
"National Southern Miss - Swimwear Queen" (Ages 10-up)
& Receives a High End National Level Full Round Crown, Double stoned lined high end white sash
finely embroidered in Red & Blue trimmed Banner & Trophy & makes appearances with division Queens.
National Southern Miss Model Queen
It is open to all contestants. Entry is only $50.00.
It will be scored separately from the seven optional & eight division competitions as a separate optional competition for a National Title.
This competition is optional but understand that entering this optional increases your opportunity at a National Title in the event
you do not win your division. The modeling competition will take place after all pageant competition of divisions are completed
and all the beauty competition score sheets have been turned into auditor.
Walk the Runway, Strike that pose & compete for these (2) two National Titles! Ever want to have your own personal modeling shoot.
Get Ready Now! Chose your best modeling outfit and have the time of your life competing for this great National Title.
All entries will be judged on their modeling abilities and their photogenic appeal from the
Division Judges of the pageant. It is not a Dance or Talent competition.

Girls age 10-12 have the option of competing as routine or runway!
& Receives a High End National Level Full Round Crown, Double stoned lined high end white sash finely embroidered
in Red & Blue trimmed Banner & Trophy & makes appearances with division Queens.Very nice trophy, Gifts & Prizes.
The National Pageant will not double crown.
Should you win your age division and the Swimwear or the Model competition
you will be crowned for your age division only, which takes pecedence.
In the event that this happens the 1st runner-up in the Swimwear and/or Modeling competitions will be crowned.
This allows us to Crown more National Queens and provide more Queens with scholarships.
Please understand that competing in the swimwear and the modeling gives you 2 additional opportunities
at a National Title and a scholarship if you enter these competitions.

One $100.00 Good Luck Ad is required and is mandatory by all contestants & will be with below their photo on the contestant division page.
This is a personal Good Luck Ad of 15 words or less from family, friends or a business with your photo.
(Any size photo, we will scan it to size)

Speech Award Competition 20% of Score
Teen, Miss & Mrs. will compete in a 1 minute platform speech competition on a topic of choice
