Miss Alabama Palm State Pageant is designed as a premier pageant system to support Education through Scholarships
& to give contestants necessary practice & confidence of life skills for future Interviews, speech, public speaking and other competitions.
BEST OF ALL, THE QUEENS WILL BE STATE QUEENS WITH STATE TITLES & REPRESENT THE STATE
TITLE OF THE MISS ALABAMA PALM STATE PAGEANT tm.
All proceeds remaining after expenses from this pageant will go towards scholarships and savings bonds intended for education for the
Queens. Programs, DVD's, & Photo CD's, and any other items sold separetly are excluded from these proceeds.
( ENTRY FEE )
Early registration Entry Fee is only $75.00 & must be postmarked by TBA.
Entry fee for at-large contestants is $100.00 & must be postmarked on or before TBA & include all money, ads & photos.
Applications postmarked after TBA will be accepted until final deadline TBA, however the entry fee
will increase to $125.00.
(No applications will be accepted after this date).
If you're a current reigning Local County or City Palm Queen your entry fee is only $50.00.
If you're a current reigning Queen of ANY other pageant within Alabama your entry fee is only $75.00.
All other contestants may enter At-Large, entry fee is $100.00.

Teen, Miss & Mrs are judged on 50% interview (5 Minutes) - 25% public speaking (1 Minute Speech) - 25% evening gown competition
All other divisions are judged a 1 to 20 on Personality - Beauty - Poise - Gown - Overall Appearance
Judges will be of the highest caliber for your pageant
with no prior connection to anyone participating in or connected to the pageant!

Miss Alabama Palm Queen Prizes Age 17-24
State of Alabama Title of Miss Alabama Palm State Pageant Queen. A Scholarship check will be given to the 2009-2010
Miss Alabama Palm State Queen for her college or university at the end of her reign. We will be increasing the scholarship amount
each year as the pageant system grows. High end State Level Full Round Crown: 3 inch for younger divisions & 5 1/4 inch for older divisions.
Double stoned lined high end white sash finely embroidered in Green & Orange trimmed.
3 foot tall double column engraved trophy. Gifts & Prizes. Personalized License Plate and a Queen window decal.
Queens Prizes for all other Divisions Ages 0-16
State of Alabama Title of Miss Alabama Palm State Pageant Queen.
Savings Bonds: Intended for education will be given out to all other division Queens at the end of their Reign
beginning with the 2009-2010 Queens.
High end State Level Full Round Crowns: 3 inch for younger divisions.& 5 1/4 inch for older divisions.

One $25.00 Good Luck Ad is required by all contestants & will be below their photo on the contestant division page.
This is a personal Good Luck Ad from family, friends or a business of 12 words or less.
Please write out the ad either on the back page of your application or on a separate piece of paper & don't foget to include a photo.

Teen & Miss will compete in a 5 minute interview competition.

Teen & Miss will compete in a 1 minute platform speech competition on a topic of choice

Receives Crown, Banner & Trophy & makes appearances with division Queens.
The person competing for & selling the most Hospitality ads will win & be crowned with the State Title

$25.00 = 1/4 page, $50.00 = 1/2 page, $100.00 = a full page ad.

Receives High End State Level Full Round Crown, Banner & Trophy & makes appearances with
other division Queens. This "Miss Alabama Tropical Palm State Queen" title is an optional
Swimwear Competition you may want to seriously consider entering, it is only an additional $30.00 & is open to all contestants.
It will be scored separately from the seven optionals & 8 age division competitions as a separate optional competition.
The swimwear competition is optional & will take place after the beauty competition score sheets have been turned
into the auditors. The person with the highest score in the swimwear competition
Ages 0-6 will be crowned "Little Miss Alabama Tropical Palm State Queen"
Ages 7-12 will be crowned "Jr. Miss Alabama Tropical Palm State Queen"
Ages 13 & up will be crowned "Miss Alabama Tropical Palm State Queen"
Miss Alabama Tropical Palm Ambassador State Queen
Receives High End State Level Full Round Crown, Banner & Trophy & makes appearances with
other division Queens. 1 Overall Peoples Choice Winner will be crowned Miss Alabama Tropical Palm

The Miss Alabama Palm & Florida Palm State Scholarship Pageant is joining with several other
state scholarship pageant systems (TBA Soon) throughout the Southern United States.
All 2008 State Queens & newly crowned 2009 State Queens and 2009 State contestants of these state systems
will be eligible to compete at the 2009 Nationals for additional scholarships, crowns, titles, banners & more.
